We will soon be traveling to the Holy Land!  Some sights we will see:
Sunrise in Bethlehem
We are waiting to board the flight from Newark to Tel Aviv.  We will fly through the night and cross into daylight, and finally land in Tel Aviv around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.  We will be 8 hours ahead of Central time.  In the beautiful Ben Gurion airport we will go through passport control, get our luggage and meet our guide, Joseph.  Those who were on my most recent trip there will remember this excellent and reverent guide.  As I tell people, he spent more years in seminary than I did.  We will take our bus to Bethlehem and stay there the next two nights.  A few of us might venture our that night already, and certainly in the early morning  The picture above is from a morningwalk in Bethlehem during the 2018 trip.   The weather for the first two days looks great.  The long range forecast is pretty good, with just a bit of rain mentioned.   I will try to update after we arrive, and maybe have a picture to upload.
